Edible Marijuana Recipes.

Contrary to inhaling, it is easy to overdose on edibles - so caution is advised. Delicious taste can lead you to eat/drink more than you need, resulting in a variety of unpleasant and possibly downright dangerous side effects

Throughout this website, whenever the topic of edible marijuana arises, you are warned about eating too much and having a bad time. While that is actually easy to do, it is unlikely that you will need more than time for the effects to wear off.

Marijuana was used as food since before recorded historyHowever, we regulary hear news reports of individuals who ingested more than was safe and they ended up checking themselves into a hospital, or the police did it for them. One man, a legal patient in California, ate a brownie before he departed on a flight to the east coast. Thinking that the brownies were not very strong he decided to eat another piece, after just a half-hour. By the time the flight was above Illinois, he was panicking in the bathroom, removing his clothes and splashing water on himself in an effort to "come down" from too much medicine. This never happens when smoking or vaporizing medicinal cannabis.

With all those warnings having been said (for the umteenth time), following are some great recipes for making marijuana edibles. You can use canna oil (canola based) or canna butter (salted or unsalted) interchangeably with their non-medicated counterparts in nearly any recipe you might normally use when cooking. We sell both canna butter and marijuana infused canola oil. - see edible products -

EASY POT PIZZA PIE large size
Ingredients:
• 1 large store-brand pizza
• 1/2 cup to 1 cup or more grated cheese, mozarella/cheddar blend is recommended
• Optional: 1/4 teaspoon Italian herbs (basil, oregano, parsely, etc.)
• Ground up marijuana 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup or more, depending on potency/strength of the cannabis.
Directions:
1. Open package pizza, sprinkle marijuana evenly over the top of frozen pizza, do same with spices, if you are using them.
2. Cover the marijuana/herbs with cheese, best to cover well, so as not to let herbs burn in oven.
3. Cook in oven according to instructions on box, but add 8 - 10 minutes more for the extra cheese/herbs.
4. Be sure the cheese is all completely melted and bubbling all over, before removing from the oven. The oils in the cheese will release the active ingredients in the cannabis. Be sure that you let the pizza cool sufficiently.

(Test by trying a smaller piece to gauge potency)
