Medical Grade Marijuana/Cannabis is generally made from the female buds. This is the most medically concentrated part of the plant, although the entire plant - male or female - has medicinal content. The harvested, unfertilized female buds are trimmed of the larger, less potent leaves, then they are left to slowly "cure" - anywhere from ten days to a month or more. The final product is a seedless, highly concentrated medicine and is sold by weight.
